Current limitation

The built-in Hyper Search storefront integration is not compatible with Catalyst.

Catalyst is BigCommerce's Next.js starter for composable storefronts. The built-in Hyper Search experience is a client-side React application designed to attach to containers in a Stencil theme, so it cannot currently be enabled directly in Catalyst.

A custom Catalyst integration may be possible with InstantSearch.js and the Typesense InstantSearch adapter. Contact support to discuss requirements and obtain store-specific connection details. Never expose administrative credentials in storefront code.
