Syncing changes from BigCommerce
Hyper Search regularly synchronises data from BigCommerce so customers see current product and content information in search results.
Once up and running, the time of the last full sync is shown at the top of the dashboard when opening the app.
Product synchronisation
Full synchronisation
A full product catalogue synchronisation runs twice a day. The exact time depends on your store.
Incremental synchronisation
When a supported product update is made in BigCommerce admin or through the API, Hyper Search automatically synchronises that product.
Only certain product fields trigger this incremental sync. See the official documentation.
Content synchronisation
Full synchronisation
Hyper Search also synchronises categories, brands and content pages so it can suggest them to customers when relevant.
Incremental synchronisation
Categories, brands and content pages do not have incremental synchronisation. Deleted categories are removed from search results immediately; other changes appear after the next full synchronisation.
